Where you can buy signed copies of ADAPTATION – UPDATED

Hello lovely readers! I’m about halfway through an autumn full of book events for the publication of Adaptation, and I wanted to let you know that even if the events haven’t been near you, you can still get signed copies of Adaptation.

Yesterday I joined fellow YA authors Janni Lee Simner, Mette Ivie Harrison, Cindy Pon, and Sarah Rees Brennan at Powell’s (we were at the Cedar Hills branch) for a wonderful event. Here we are:

L to R: Sarah Rees Brennan, Mette Ivie Harrison, me, Cindy Pon, Janni Lee Simner at Powell’s Cedar Hills

It was so fun to be at the giant Powell’s! And now they have signed copies of Adaptation that you can order online at powells.com. All you have to do when you order is note that you’d like a signed copy (there should be a field for you to enter special requests), which they have in stock at the Beaverton/Cedar Hills location.

You can also order signed copies from Books of Wonder in New York, where I signed many many many copies in September.

Last but not least, you can always get signed copies of all my books from Book Passage in California. If they don’t have a signed version in stock, or if you want it personalized, just let them know and they’ll contact me and I will come into the store and sign it for you.

I know that there are many places for you to buy books, and some of them may seem easier than going to an independent bookseller’s website and figuring out how to work through their order forms, but if you have the means, I do encourage you to buy from one of these independent bookstores. They do so much to help me as an author by hosting me (and other authors!) for events, publicizing those events, and placing those books on the shelves so people can see them and be drawn in by the covers or by reading the jacket copy.

This is also a good time to remind you that if you’re in the San Francisco Bay Area, I’ll be at Books Inc Palo Alto tonight at 7 p.m. for a Not Your Mother’s Book Club event with Libba Bray and Rachel Cohn. Afterward, you’ll also be able to order signed copies from Books Inc!

Finally, many many thanks to all of you who have bought my books already! You are the best!

UPDATED 10/23/12: Signed copies of my books can now also be purchased via the Fountain Bookstore in Richmond, Virginia.
