Your weekly(ish) HUNTRESS update

Greetings, dear readers! Today I’m pleased to share with you Chapter 3 from Huntress, which will be coming to bookstores quite soon! This will be the last little tidbit from Huntress that I’ll be posting online, but if you missed Chapter 1 or 2, you can read them all right here on one handy page.

The official release date for Huntress in the United States and Canada is April 5, 2011, but I suspect you may start to see it sneaking onto shelves a little before then. I’ve been told that Huntress will be available in Australia and New Zealand in April as well, and that readers in the United Kingdom will get the book in May. I’m sorry that not everyone will get the book at the exact same moment in time, but at least the overseas release isn’t being delayed by six months.

And speaking of the U.K., my U.K. publisher, Atom Books, has shown me the U.K. cover for Huntress. It’s almost the same as the American version:

I do enjoy that “bestselling” adjective. :)

Finally, I’ve done a lot of updating around my site today. I’ve updated my official events page with all the Diversity Tour info. I’ve also updated my press page with various interviews and guest posts I did in the latter half of 2010.

It’s now three weeks until Huntress‘s official launch, and believe me, I’m a little frantic here behind the scenes. If you’re in the San Francisco Bay Area, please join me at my book launch on April 5 at Books Inc in Palo Alto (details)!

And if you’re not in the San Francisco Bay Area, stay tuned as some of my behind-the-scenes franticness involves setting things up for a virtual book launch, too.

Three weeks to go, folks! *scurries away to do some writing*

Haha, that’s one of the the first times living in the U.S. has given me an advantage, when it comes to books. I read so much stuff that comes out in the U.K. sometimes up to a full YEAR earlier. That’s when online book ordering becomes my best friend. XD

Anyway, I am soooo excited. I can’t wait for this book! EEPPP!!!!!
