On Independence Day, I visited the Marin County Fair. I have a secret fascination with agriculture as well as a not-so-secret love of Americana, so I kinda love going to these things. Here are a few of the highlights from that day:

First, we visited the barnyard.

Then, we witnessed something you just have to see to believe: pig racing.

It was difficult to get a shot of the pigs in action, due to the swines' super speed.

Finally, we wandered around the fair grounds to see what was what.
