Many thanks to Melissa Marr!

A couple of days ago, Melissa Marr (the bestselling author of Wicked Lovely, Ink Exchange, and Fragile Eternity) was kind enough to tweet about a book she read recently … Ash!

Despite the fact that people (you know, my agent and editor — who are obviously invested in this whole situation) tell me they liked Ash, I am still somewhat shocked when Actual Authors like my book, too. So, thank you, Melissa Marr! I am very honored by your recommendation.

Congrats Malinda! I’ve been following your sites and your articles on AfterEllen and I can’t help but be excited about Ash too. I wonder if they’ll release it to Asia, particularly the Philippines, because I’m not really into online shopping. Haha. XD

Hi Rach! I’m not sure if ASH will be released in the Philippines. I know that rights to publish ASH in the Philippines have not yet been sold, and I’m not sure how open the Philippines is to publishing books with LGBT content. I certainly hope it’ll happen, though.
