Photo Friday: Dessert, dessert, dessert (and ribs)

A couple of weekends ago I went to a wedding. This was no ordinary wedding. This wedding came with a chocolate fountain.

These are the delicacies we were provided to dip into the chocolate fountain:

Afterward, this is what we ate:

If that wasn’t enough dessert for you, there was also a candy bar:

Note that directly behind the candy bar was the actual bar. I would have taken photos of the cocktails, but I was too busy drinking them.

Several days later, I went out to Q Restaurant in San Francisco. I ordered the grilled meatloaf. You know, I always think that meatloaf is a good idea, but usually it is disappointing. This time, I’m sorry to say, I was not wrong. I should have gone with the dish that my friends ordered, aka “Smilin’ Andy’s Applewood Smoked Pork Spare Ribs With Mom’s Baked Beans, Garlic Fries, and Spicy Slaw.”

Luckily, I took a photo:

Mmmmm.

Then, last Sunday I went out to brunch at the Sleeping Lady, a little restaurant in Fairfax, CA. Their menu is small, but most of the food is done well. For example, this delicious french toast:

I ordered a side of bacon, too, but I ate that. Didn’t want to tempt you too much. May you eat well this weekend (and always)!
