I thought this wsa a great interview. I've read all McDermid's books. I especially liked The Grave Tattoo.
It was very interesting to read what McDermid had to say about struggling through the middle without a net with a couple of books. I have faced the same sort of struggle myself on the current novel in progress. Nice to know that great and prolific writers may have some of the same problems from time to time, and that maybe not all of my trouble comes from inexperience.
